Right now it is connecting the community to the movement through the website and through these summits. The more the community as a whole engages, understands and rallies behind the integration solution model, the more successful and sustainable the project will be.

Pooling resources into one central location strengthens advocacy through sheer numbers alone. Frontline Response is currently in development of the Institute to collect best practices not just for DeKalb, but for communities across the country. As we learn, study and grow together, our collective results will help to create a stronger legislative advocacy group in the future.

The Beyond Us Collective is dedicated to engaging the community-at-large, across geographies, by creating spaces and opportunities for all stakeholders to voice their opinions, brainstorm ideas and co-design the Villages at Peace initiative. From our neighbors surrounding the Peace Baptist Church property to Metro-Atlanta and beyond, we believe the Villages at Peace can serve as a beacon of hope that demonstrates real impact and generates value locally, regionally and nationally.

"Nothing about us without us" is actually one of our catch phrases in this process. And it is not just a slogan. Approximately 20 clients participated in the first Summit held on July 9, and this will continue throughout the entire Summit Series. Frontline Response has utilized its discussions with their clients to bring the plan to fruition to this point already, and will continue that practice.
